Elevate the white tee and jeans! Here are 5 different outfits you can pull together

A white tee and jeans is one of the easiest outfits to put together.

As warmer weather approaches, it’s time to revisit a timeless fashion favorite: the combination of jeans and a white t-shirt. This go-to style is a fail-safe choice, but there are ways to elevate this look for the upcoming warmer seasons.

Madeline Richardson shared five different ways to style a white tee and jeans.

Layering for Transitional Seasons

As we anticipate warmer weather, there’s no need to wait to start wearing your white tee and jeans.

“The trick to springtime and these transitional seasons is to just layer,” Madeline recommended.

A light jacket or sweater can easily be added or removed as the temperature fluctuates throughout the day.

Styles for Everyone

The beauty of the jeans and white tee look is its versatility. Madeline curated a variety of styles, ensuring there’s something to suit everyone’s taste.

“Some of these outfits may have you stepping out of your comfort zone, but everyone would look so cute in every single one of these outfits,” she reassured.

Madeline picking things that are in a good price range, but at the end of the day, she says, “a blazer is a blazer. You can get it at Nordstrom or J. Crew, or at H& M or Walmart,” she said.

When it comes to the core pieces of this outfit, they’re likely already in your closet.

1. Classic Parisian Look

  • Straight leg denim
  • Comfy white tee
  • Oversized blazer
  • Flats
  • Sunglasses
  • Headband

“I know we all love the stretchy jeans, but the straight leg really gives the French look,” Madeline said.

Another aspect that really takes you to the streets of Paris are the accessories in this outfit. The flats, the sunglasses, the headband – all really elevate the look to another level.

2. Sailor Style

  • Sailor pant
  • Basic white tee
  • Tucked sweater
  • Flats
  • Metallic heaband
  • Earrings

Madeline loves the detail on these jeans from Zara. However, she said the frayed edge might be going out.

“I think that the really raw edge is out. So take your scissors just trim up,” she recommended.

3. Sporty Mom on the Go

  • Wide leg high-waisted denim
  • Basic white tee
  • Classic trench coat
  • Baseball cap
  • Colored sneaker

Madeline loves the colored Samba sneakers.

“If I’m spending a chunk on shoes, I just go neutral. But these are a really good way to go because it has a little pop of color, but it’s mostly neutral,” she emphasized.

4. Barrel Jeans

These specific jeans have been making waves, and Madeline was a total skeptic at first.

“I tried them on and they’re pretty cute. Don’t knock it till you try it,” she said.

Originally from Free People, you can find some dupes on Amazon at a fraction of the price.

“Who knows how long this trend is going to last, so get them from Amazon. They look great,” Madeline recommended.

5. Elevating Wide Leg Jeans

  • Wide leg jeans
  • Ribbed white tee
  • Bow-detail cardigan
  • Glam loafer or small heel

Madeline originally paired this look with a gold loafer, but she said you can change it up for the occasion.

“If you’re doing day to night, you can just put on a little heel,” she advised.
