Five Fall Wreaths to Set Your Stage

Five Fall Wreaths to Set Your Stage

There’s nothing like a wreath on your front door to set the stage for visitors.
But when it comes to wreaths, no rules apply. Go crazy and let your
imagination rule your craft room.

Blogger Tausha Hoyt, from Sassy Style Redesign shares some of her crafty
wreath inspiration.

1-Ghosts & Goblins Witches Brew….

This wreath is sure to put a spell on you and all of your guests . The wreath
was made with a forgotten, ugly, plastic wreath from the thrift store. After a
coat of Krylon Glitter Blast in black, some witchy wooden shoes and hat this
wreath is sure to spook.

Shoes and hat can be found at The Ivy Cottage in Farr West.

2- Everything looks better with a little sparkle..

This wreath is no exception. I found a pre-made, green leaf wreath from Rod
Works. I picked up some fake leaves from the dollar store and an old berry
garland from the thrift store & I sprayed each leaf with a different color of the
glitter blast spray paint. I wanted to make a wreath that could be used for
every season, so the leaves and embellishments come off. I used bobby pins
to hold the pieces in places. A dab of hot glue and a little bit of creative
concealing and you are good to go. No one will ever know.

3-Who said a wreath had to be round?

If someone made this rule, I just broke it. I wanted to create something that
could be used for both Halloween and the fall season. I found some fabulous
vinyl from Uppercase Living. The wood piece is from Adornit.com. Because I
can’t leave well enough alone, I added some embellishments to each side.
Double Duty “wreath” that is double, double cute.

4-Go big or go home

That’s what they say, right? Well, I followed that rule to a tee with this wreath.
I used 12×12 double sided papers that I folded each piece into a cone. I
glued and layered each cone onto a large, square, thin piece of wood. This is
a very important step. Whatever you glue your paper needs to be light & not
heavy. After lots of folding and just as much glitter spray-this wreath is the
perfect finishing touch for a party or for the large wall in your home that you
have been dying to fill.

5-Mini is magnificent

After I made the largest wreath ever known to man, I decided to go to the
opposite end of the spectrum. I used a small, foam wreath form, textured
yarn, button and push pins. I wrapped the wreath form with the yarn in a
nice, straight pattern. When I was finished I layered buttons on the wreath
with push pins. This is the perfect size to embellish a lamp shade or a
mirror. This wreath is so 5 fall wreath ideas
