Halloween Haunts

Provo River Adventure Cruise

First off, we all know that Ghosts float through spook alleys, but have you ever actually got to float through one?

The Provo River Adventure Cruise is a family friendly spook cruise. You can take a ride down the lower Provo River on a riverboat. It is like a hayride, but it’s a boat ride.

There are more 100 pumpkins reflecting off the water, and while you’re on the boat they tell a classic scary tale.
We’ve even heard that a pirate attacks the boat and ends up handing out candy.

The boats depart from 3606 West Center Street in Provo.

Scarecrow Festival

For another fun family activity, head out to Thanksgiving Point this weekend.

In fact, today marks the opening of the scarecrow festival.

This four day fall festival runs 10 am to 9 pm Oct. 11, 12, 13, and 15th. It is a great activity for the whole family. They have so much going on out there that everyone will find something to do.

Boo at The Zoo

And if going door to door for treats isn’t your bag.

On Saturday October 27 from 9 am to 3 pm you can enjoy a safe and educational environment while trick or treating throughout the zoo grounds. They even transform the zoofari express train ride into a spooky experience. For more information on this activity and other Halloween festivities they have planned at Hogle Zoo go to www.hoglezoo.org.
