Heather Doney shares a few protein packed sweets that help you get your sugar fix in a healthier way. She shows how to use the sought-after Ninja Creami to make protein ice cream, protein balls, and a Greek yogurt parfait with a unique protein flair.

Protein Balls
INGREDIENTS
- ¾ Cup Almonds
- ½ cup vanilla protein powder
- 1 TBS coconut, unsweetened (plus more for rolling)
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
- 2 TBS Brown Rice Syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 TBS almond milk
- 2 TBS maple syrup
- 1-2 teaspoons of water (optional)
METHOD
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Roll into golf-ball sized rounds, refrigerate for 30 minutes before eating. Keep in refrigerator or freezer.

Protein Ice Cream
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup full fat cottage cheese
- 2 Tbl Maple Syrup
- 1 banana or 1 cup of berries
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 1 scoop Vanilla Protein
METHOD
Blend cottage cheese in blender or food processor. Then add all other ingredients and blend! Put in freezer safe container, add any toppings and freeze for 2-3 hours. Then enjoy immediately!
