JouJou Toy Store at The Grand America Hotel

· The Grand America Hotel opened its newest addition to “The Shops at
The Grand” called JouJou (French word for “toy”) right before the holidays –
November 25, 2011. It’s been very well received by the community and hotel
guests.

· JouJou has a very unique selection of toys, books, vintage games and
other items for children of all ages that you won’t find anywhere else in town.

· JouJou inspires imagination through interactive play centers.

· Families enjoy coming to the hotel to visit JouJou and to stop by La Bonne
Vie for a treat, hot chocolate or gelato.

· Many elements within JouJou were created by local artisans.

· We had a very popular Holiday Window Stroll this year that featured a fun
“treasure hunt” activity for children. Children received a cookie as a reward
for completing the activity. We gave away about 20,000 shortbread cookies
from La Bonne Vie, our French Patisserie.

· The Grand is a locals gathering place. We have activities planned year
round at the hotel including:

o JouJou – Book Readings every Saturday at 12 noon

o JouJou – Monthly appearances by children’s book authors and illustrators

o La Bonne Vie – our French Patisserie features handcrafted pastries,
artisanal chocolates, Italian gelato, full espresso bar including decadent hot
chocolate – a local favorite. Beautiful gift packages are available.

o Afternoon Tea – every day in the Lobby Lounge

o Live Jazz every Friday and Saturday night in the Lobby Lounge

o The Garden Café – in addition to fresh, seasonal menus for breakfast,
lunch and dinner, we also offer daily breakfast and lunch buffets – very
popular with locals
