Mrs. C’s Chocolate Chip Treasure Cookies
1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1 (14 ounce can) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated) ½ (1 stick) margarine or butter, softened
1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
1 small apple, finely diced
1 (12 ounce) package semi sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a small bowl, combine crumbs, flour
and baking powder.
2. In a large mixer bowl, beat sweetened condensed milk and margarine
until smooth. Add crumb mixture; mix well. Stir in coconut, apples, chocolate chips and walnuts.
3. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 9 to 10
minutes, or until lightly browned. Store loosely covered at room temperatur.
