New Whisk Bliss: Gluten Free

Make quick and delicious sauces, soups and endless savory creations with
just one product – and you can make it all gluten free! Becky Olsen with
Shirley J shares the new version of the Whisk Bliss base.

Creamy Roasted Red Pepper Sauce


· 2 Tbs Basil

· 1 Tbs Garlic Minced

· 1 c. Red Bell Pepper (Pureed)

· 1/2 c. Shirley J Whisk Bliss Original or Whisk Bliss Original Gluten Free

· 1 3/4 c. Water


If using fresh red peppers, use any accepted method of roasting. When
cooled, scrape the charred surface from the peppers and without rinsing,
place roasted (or store bought) peppers in a blender and puree. In a sauce
pan over medium heat combine the water, Whisk Bliss and garlic, stir and
bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer and add pureed roasted
pureed peppers and basil. Simmer 5-10 minutes. Serve over pasta,
vegetables, etc.

* If roasting red peppers at home be sure to only use the flesh of the pepper.
Make sure to drain or shake off all water, especially if red peppers were
roasted whole. If you do not do this, the sauce will most likely be looser and
require more simmering.
