If you answered mostly A’s:

Your design style is Modern/Contemporary. This style entails clean lines, minimal accessories, and a more industrial feel. Simple patterns in fabrics, simple lines, shiny metals, and polished woods are all elements of this style. Color palettes are usually very simple (whites, silvers, blacks, and browns), with sometimes one or two bold accent colors. The key to this style is less is more. That goes for the design of bigger items such as cabinets and sofas, as well as the accessories. With modern/contemporary style, when in doubt, leave it out.

If you answered mostly B’s:

Your design style is Transitional. This style is a blend between Traditional and Modern/Contemporary. In this style you will have cleaner lines with a less harsh, more classic feel. You will blend more traditional elements with industrial elements. Fabrics will be simpler, but you have freedom to add some graphic elements, like a houndstooth pattern, but more will be done with textures than patterns. They key is to still keep it simple, but with a warmer feel. You can use an old farm table and mix it with an industrial looking light fixture or vice versa: a fancy chandelier with a more contemporary table. Accessories should still be kept to a minimum.

If you answered mostly C’s:

Your design style is Traditional. This is a more popular design style due to its timeless appeal. Though some fabric styles may change, the furniture pieces will stand the test of time. In this classic style, there won’t be too many surprises. There are more curved lines, more bells and whistles, more saturated colors and patterns, and more accessories than the previous styles. Florals, stripes, and laces are common elements of this style. This style is commonly seen in magazines and furniture showrooms.

If you answered mostly D’s:

Your design style is Country. This design style says, “Kick your feet up and relax!” There are many different styles that fall into the country category, i.e. French Country, Cottage, Shabby Chic, etc. This style has the classic lines of traditional styling, but with a much more casual, lived in and loved look. Painted or well worn furniture is a staple element in this style. A more casual slipcovered look is often used on furniture. Antiques for both furniture and accessories are common to this style. Mix and match is the name of the game in this design style. Try to pull the look together by using 2 to 3 common color elements.

If you get a mixture of answers:

You are probably eclectic or fall into a different, lesser known design style.
