Thanksgiving Tablescape Goes Clean and Modern

Michelle Virtue, from BYU Campus Craft and Floral unveils her Thanksgiving tablescape with a clean and modern look.

The Season of Gratitude culminates at your Thanksgiving table-—a gathering intended to unite family & friends in the spirit of the harvest. To help celebrate with those you care about most, select a bit of inspiration from nature and let the harvest speak for itself. By combining simple glass containers, dried food stables, candles and a few fresh cut flowers or foliage, you can create an elegant, meaningful and simple tablescape.

Plan ahead and your centerpiece will be the easiest thing you do this holiday season. Start by collecting simple glass pieces and then raid your pantry in search of texture, color, and size. Dried legumes, rice, corn husks, oats, garlic, popcorn, couscous, pumpkin seeds and nuts are some of my favorites. Add gourds, ribbon, fresh foliages, or fall branches as accents. The possibilities endless!
