Government studies have proven that triple-pane windows can save up to 15 percent more than double-pane windows when it comes to utility bills. This program is funded by the federal government to encourage people to achieve a 20 percent increase in the efficiency of their homes. In a nutshell, if a homeowner follows the program, he or she could have at least 50 percent of his or her home improvements paid for by the program, up to $2,000. So, this means that if the average person has $4,000 worth of energy improvements done, that person could receive $2,000 back from the program—not to mention rebates from the utility companies. Depending on your income level, the 50 percent refund could increase to as much as 80 percent.

If homeowners opt to utilize Utah Home Performance, they must work with contractors approved by the program. Wasatch Vinyl Products is an approved Utah Home Performance contractor.
