Flavor Infused Butters for Your Holiday Table

Plain butter is a thing of the past with these recipes.



Becky Low shares how to amp up the flavor for a delicious meal.

Honey Butter
½ cup (1-stick) butter, room temperature
¼ cup honey

Whip together until light and fluffy. Spread on hot rolls and breads, ham, chicken, pancakes, waffles, bagels, and more.
Whipped Cinnamon Butter
½ cup (1-stick) butter, room temperature
½ cup powdered sugar (or 3-tablespoons honey)
½-1 teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon vanilla
Salt, optional to taste

Whip until light and fluffy! May garnish with sprinkles if desired. Spread on hot rolls, waffles, pancakes, fried bread, and more.
Cilantro Lime Butter
1 clove pressed or finely minced garlic
2 tablespoons minced cilantro
1 zest of one lime
½ tablespoon fresh lime juice
½ cup (1-stick) butter, room temperature
Salt and pepper to taste, if needed

Stir together garlic, cilantro, lime zest and lime juice. Add butter and stir until well blended. Excellent on pasta, chicken, breads, corn, vegetables,fish, and more.
Mustard Butter
½ cup (1-stick) butter
¼ cup country mustard

Stir together until well blended. Spread on ham, hard boiled eggs, sandwiches, and more.
Sun Dried Tomato Butter
½ cup (1-stick) unsalted butter, room temperature
2-3 tablespoons finely chopped sun dried tomatoes
½ teaspoon garlic salt (California blend), to taste

Stir together ingredients until well blended. Excellent on pasta, crusty breads, soups, eggs, fish, and more.
Raspberry Jam Butter
½ cup (1-stick) butter, room temperature
¼ cup raspberry preserves (more to taste)

Stir together ingredients until well blended. Add additional jam to taste. Try substituting different flavored jams. Excellent on toast, pancakes, waffles, bagels, hot rolls, and more.
Blue Bacon Butter
1 strip cooked bacon, finely chopped
½ cup (1-stick) unsalted butter, room temperature
¼ cup crumbled blue cheese

Stir together ingredients until well blended. Excellent on steak, hamburgers, pasta, chicken, crusty bread, eggs, vegetables, baked potatoes, and more.
Chili Chive Lemon Butter:
½ cup (1-stick) unsalted butter, room temperature
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, more or less to taste
1 zest from 1 lemon
1 tablespoon minced fresh chives
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
¼ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper, to taste

Stir together all ingredients until well blended. Excellent on fish, hamburgers, breads, pasta, and more.
