Rib City’s Prime Rib

Prime Rib Rub
2 Tablespoon Black Pepper
2 Teaspoon White Pepper
1 1/2 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
1 Tablespoon Onion Powder
2 Tablespoon kosher salt
2 Tablespoon Parsley flakes
1 Cup soy sauce
1/2 Cup olive oil
2 Tablespoon brown sugar

Rub on your Prime Rib (Ribeye Lip-on) and wrap in plastic wrap for at least 1 hour. You can let sit overnight for best results.

Cooking Time: Slow Cook
Sear Prime Rib on 375 for 15 minutes in oven. Then smoke or roast in the oven or BBQ grill or Camp Chef smoker for 2/1/2 hours at 275 degrees or until the middle reaches 135 to 140 degrees.

The ends will be medium to well done and the middle will be rare. If you want it cooked more, simply leave it on the heat longer. It can be cooked to 160 degrees where the ends will be well done and the middle will still be slightly rare.

Always use a thermometer to gauge meat temperature.

You can always visit Rib City to let them do the cooking for you. They are located in American Falls. You can find more at www.ribcityutah.com
