What’s in the Water We Drink?

Tom Barlow from CleenWater checks the water from four different cities in Utah to see what we’re drinking.

When checking for chlorine in the water from four cities along the northern Wasatch Front, here as the findings: (in parts per million)

Kaysville .2 ppm

Centerville .4 ppm

So Salt Lake .6 ppm

Olympus Cove .5 ppm

In our experiences with thousands of customers, it is usually a combination of taste and convenience.
The tap water we get in Utah is actually quite healthy in terms of pH due to its mineral content, but the most common complaints that we get are the bad tastes and smells associated with Chorine or other chemicals, and heavy metals. If we can remove those contaminants and chemicals, the tap water here is comparable to the high end bottled waters you buy at stores for $1-$2 per bottle.

With CleenWater, we can literally transform your tap water into better than bottled water for pennies to the gallon. Not only that but we can help to reduce the plastic wastes by providing customers with reusable polycarbonate sports bottles. This way you can literally bottle your own water, and have it at home or take it to go.

The chlorine in the water is something that most people can taste and smell, but where most people are concerned is that the chlorine byproducts, called THM’s, have been tied to cancer.

Not only does CleenWater remove chlorine and THMs, but also eliminates other chemicals like:

Aluminum

Arsenic

Lead

Copper

Iron

Mercury

THM’s

If you would like CleenWater to test your water to determine your chlorine level, they will perform a complimentary test on your water. They will also give you a chance to experience CleenWater for free for 21 days. That involves installing CleenWater technology in your home.
